Ingredients

  • 10 cups beef broth

  • 5 carrots, sliced

  • 28 oz can diced tomatoes, do not drain

  • 1 lb italian sausage

  • 2 12 oz bag frozen itialian/french style green beans

  • 27 oz can kidney beans, drained

  • 1 lb frozen cheese tortellini

  • 2 teaspoons italian seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon garlic

  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  • oil and brown sausage

  • add carrots, green beans, garlic to pan, cook for 3 minutes

  • add tomatoes, broth, spices and simmer for 45 minutes

  • add tortellini and kidney beans, boil for 6-9 minutes

  • serves ~8 bowls
